Since 2012, VADV has served our neighbors in Jefferson County West Virginia who have been impacted by domestic violence. Recognizing the limited resources available to domestic violence victims, VADV has taken the lead in ensuring that services, support and resources are readily available.

Our Prevention Team works with community members to find ways to promote healthy relationships. By promoting a culture of respect and awareness, we hope to prevent future violence and abuse.
Our prevention program includes:
VADV provides resources, services and support to our neighbors whom have been impacted by domestic violence. Advocacy, awareness, and transition support are our primary focus areas. take a holistic approach in meeting the needs of each individual and family whom we serve.
Survivors whom are served by VADV have access to a wide range of sustainable support beyond their point of crisis. Through our emphasis on empowerment, self sufficiency, and new beginnings, survivors are able to reach new heights and achieve a life free of violence and abuse.
