Since 2012, VADV has served our neighbors in Jefferson County West Virginia who have been impacted by domestic violence. Recognizing the limited resources available to domestic violence victims, VADV has taken the lead in ensuring that services, support and resources are readily available.
Our mission is to provide transition services, support and assistance to victims and survivors. Further our mission is to promote healthy families and healthy homes and to educate and bring awareness to our community.
Our Prevention Team works with community members to find ways to promote healthy relationships. By promoting a culture of respect and awareness, we hope to prevent future violence and abuse.
